Life Cycle of a Jack-O-Lantern

Part ONE:
Go to the Pumpkin Patch

Weston snug in the sling

My girls and cousin Wyatt in the wagon

Papa pulling the kids through the patch

Girls on the bridge having fun with Grama and Papa

Running to pick that perfect pumpin!

Evie found one!

Kams insisted on a small one!

Rae insisted on a crooked one!

Part TWO:
Carve the pumpkins

Part THREE:
Display your masterpiece

Part FOUR:
Toast up the seeds...yum!

Part FIVE:
Light 'em up!

Part SIX:
See them wilt and mold

They didn't even make it to Halloween this year! And I've never seen them ever get this moldy before...wilty yes, but moldy no.

i avoided the "wilt & mold" scenario this year by using a black marker to color a jack o lantern face on our pumpkins. then we carved them just a couple of days ago....well, i carved them, tristan wanted nothing to do with the slimy seeds and guts!

Ahahahaha. You should put the pumpkins out anyway! They are much scarier that way. Hee hee.
